Interight is a division of Goodwood Enterprises Inc. Based in Mountain View, California with a global network of associates, it has been advising on a wide range of rights management issues for a number of years. Interight consults to clients all over the world - in the US, in Europe and in Asia - with a particular emphasis on China.

Recent work assignments include:

• Advising a leading US service provider on DRM strategies for the European market
• Advising a leading Chinese search engine on rights strategy and record industry relations
• Advising a major record label on rights management strategies for mobile music distribution in Europe
• Advising a leading  US VC fund on investment in a new rights management platform
• Advising a US company on content and rights management for its digital music service in the Middle East
• Writing a major study for WIPO on rights management technology and copyright law
• Developing strategic and policy options for the UK Government in the rights management field

Our Principal Consultant is Nic Garnett, an international authority on rights management strategies. Beginning his career in London as a music industry lawyer, Nic spent many years in Asia directing the record industry's highyly successful anti-piracy campaign in that region. Returning to London in 1991, he became  the Director General and CEO of IFPI, the global trade association of the recording industry, for a number of years. He then moved to Silicon Valley where he became a Senior Vice President at Intertrust Technologies, a leading developer of DRM technology.

Nic is a regular contributor to industry events. He is also regularly called upon by the World Intellectual Property Organization to partcipate as an expert in regional events in Asia and Europe.
